Snippets 127

A dying Jennifer de la Suicide, was discovered in the bathroom by Carol and rushed to the emergency ward of Carlos' hospital where her bowel was flushed of all pills she had swallowed. After her recovery and stability, later in the evening, Carlos asked her why she choose a senseless option of ending her life. She fired back that only over her dead body would he marry Luisa Fernanda. This suicide attempt which became a big press issue as the media published it made Carlos to blame himself for putting two women who loved him dearly into so much torment.

Consuelo was happy with the proposed trip to La Paz by Don for physio treatment, she agreed and encouraged Don to go. The old man initially did not want to travel out to La Paz, but Consuelo had to use all the tricks in her evil bag to make him agree. She had many evil schemes that would have to materialize fruitfully, only with the absence of Don from the scene.

Alfredo has suddenly realize his maniacal obsession with L.F escorting him for medical treatment in La Paz. He regretted his manipulative pressure that made her agree to escort him. as soon as the news of Jenny's suicide got to Alfredo, he jumped into wild conclusions that it must have been as a result of C.E and L.F having fully reconciled. He became agitated and wanted to go and visit Jennifer at the hospital

Vanessa advised L.F not to miss her opportunity of happiness by resigning from fighting for her love for Carlos Eduardo. She advised her not to go ahead with her plans to marry Alfredo.

L.A, once again unleashed a media war on Marissa and Carlos over the attempted suicide of Jenny. He told the press that they were a family that injure and maim their loved ones, but turn around to accuse others of attempted murder.

Phil, why do evil thrive more than goodness? Even our people's saying confirm that evil has more of the time. For example, every day is for the thief, one day is for the owner, well it may be the best day, but is that good enough. Another one says literally that before the ground kills the wicked, a very important thing would have gone bad. I am talking about the breaks circumstances continue to accord Concealer, Lying LA and de La Schemer to perpetuate their wicked schemes. Most disturbing is Hibberto's death without fully telling Don the whole truth! These things happen in real life, you know.

Prof,

truly true,... and saddening. While not unnecessarily going to live my whole life in suspicions, the greatest lesson I have inculcated from this novela is to drill down to the root motive of every relationship I have and would have.

The litany of tragedies that befell the good people of this novela was triggered by their respective follies in their relationships.

You elders are the ones who say that the greatest asset of the sage is CAUTION. My husband call it "Ifura l'ogun agba" That is what has made the wise almost invincible.

Unfortunately, all the good people in this soap, were abysmal failures in the University of Relationships!

One thing that truly amazes me is the extent of wickedness Consuela has in this telenovella...she is the one who has caused this web of pain. true to type L.A is a schemer and an opportunist but it takes a heart of vile to live out what consuella does on a daily basis...and do you know the funny thing? there are actually people who like her are devoid of all feeling! somehow it's good that such stupidness as regarding relationships is explicitly shown here...why is it that people fail to recognize that life is too short for all this drama? some of my friends feel Amelia was unfair to Pedro but to me she is the real victim in this story, i understand how she turned that way after so many years of frustration, and there are so many women especially in igeria that go through the same story...living with a man they do not have one iota of feeling for...a life of sacrifice... for what? money, tradition, obligation? the best thing that ever happened to her was her divorce. it truly would have brought out the best in her if only she had ben a bit more rational or lived longer or maybe had a better attitude [mouth] but the author knows better hmm? ok too much talk lets keep reading ahead with Phill
